The first set are from The Urban Gardener, sadly a now closed shop in Atlanta. These all seem to involve a lot of hardscape, which I appreciate as I'm now trying to focus how to get more hardscape into our yard. But I guess that's almost counter to talking about Earth Day???
This next set are from various design winners from MALTA.
Look at those lovely paths! Mr. Southern Aspirations thinks "the kids" prefer the grass, but can't you just imagine three dogs loving a romp through these stone paths?
This is much better than what I was reading about last night - for a small price, some guy will come spray paint your lawn (mix of color, fertilizer and something else). Mostly used for foreclosed properties though.
