With our beach honeymoon over, the nonstop rain in Atlanta, and the first glimpse of changing leaves, I have settled into the fact that Fall is on its way. What better way to celebrate Fall (and Fashion Week) than with the sweater.
My mother-in-law emailed me last week with her latest purchase- a cashmere travel sweater from The Gap- know that with my frequent work travel, I am constantly on the lookout for great separates perfect for travel. My definition of perfect travel separates- comfy, cozy, but able to be worn without looking like I rolled out of bed (so wrinkle-resistant is a must, too). I have been known to wear my pinstriped Lululemon yogawear, for example, with a blazer and David Yurman jewelry.
Below is a smattering of items I've found that I think are perfect travel wear. Of course, with many of them, one runs the risk of looking sloppy. But I think with the right accessories, we could pull it off!
What do you think? (oh and pardon all the belly-buttons here... I prefer to wear the pants not-quite that low!).
Lululemon Sadly, Lululemon's site still leaves a bit to be desired from an online shopping perspective. That said, the quality fabric (excluding the reflective logo on some of the pant legs!) makes it easy to "dress" it up. And I love these jackets!
Lucy Another activewear house, Lucy offers a variety of workout gear and casual attire.
