Happy New Year!

I admit I am a big fan of Champagne. As a retailer, I know that Champagne and other sparkling wines sell now.. .and that's about it. It is a challenge to bring in enough inventory to create fabulous displays, but not get "hung" on too much product. Otherwise, you have February 14th to sell and that's it. A shame! It is such a fun beverage.

Today, I am feeling quite lazy and would love to do nothing than sip champagne...

on a comfy sofa like the one below...

with my husband watching movies (I'd even settle for football).

Happy New Year!

  3. Bonne Annee to you as well, Emmie! We always have a bottle of bubbly in stand-by, so I completely understand what you mean. I'd love to have a plan like yours, but just might have to settle for domino's and hot buttered rum instead. Have a lovely evening.

  6. I have to say, I love red wine and port.

  7. Hoorah for champagne! We have a bottle chilling in the fridge. I read in a Martha Stewart mag last year that you can mix it with peach nectar and other goodies in a "bellini bar" of sorts. Sounds great to me!

  12. We sailed to St. Michaels last summer and had dinner at the Inn at Perry Cabin. If you find out the name of the restaurant def. let me know. You are going to Atlanta for the framing event...so jealous. Best wishes for a fantastic 2010! xx
