Last week, I received my second piece of original art that I've ever owned (the first was a painting I purchased from a street vendor in Peru). To me, art is fun, expressive, and inspiring... and I just had to share with you the blog, Fine Art Daily from Jean Sanders. Her goal is to paint each day, showing a bit of "her world and work."
Here is today's painting....

And the one I purchased.

Lots of great paintings of the outdoors....

And storefronts...

I must mention that this one is of Gumbo Limbo- a store which I am dying to visit! Jean shows her art here, as does several other talented local artists. Some of the art featured in HGTV's recent Green Home is from here.
Here are a few of her fun "indoors" ones.

Several more watercolors are in my future... I just need to decide which ones. Fun!

Wow! I would love to own one of these. They are my style to a T!
ReplyDeleteIt's funny because I considered the wagon one as a part of your bday gift! I'm glad you got it!
ReplyDeleteI (obviously!) love them too and they are only $50 per print and she mats them in an 8x10 mat. YAY!
ReplyDeleteI adore the colours and the femininity of this art!
ReplyDeleteThey are beautiful! I love how bright and fresh they are, what a wonderful way to get an original piece of art for your home.
